As described in the "Our Approach" page, the challenges that the region faces are all tied together in some way. Our goal is to find the alignment, overlap, and spaces of potential coordination and collaboration between issue areas in order to implement more holistic solutions to advancing equity. Given Pittsburgh’s current reality and the needs of residents, EJGP will initially be focused on the following issue areas:

The coalition aims to include representatives who can provide subject matter expertise, and help to complement the lived experiences of the neighborhood representatives when prioritizing actions of the network. We recognize it may be necessary to expand on these issues as pressing concerns arise.
